The back-and-forth battle over the potential export of Nvidia graphics processing units to China continued on Monday with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick confirming that President Donald Trump would soon make another decision on the matter.

Mr Lutnick said that Nvidia's H200 GPU was at the centre of discussions at the White House on what kind of semiconductors Beijing might be allowed to obtain.
