The Kremlin said Wednesday that Russia’s latest battlefield advances in Ukraine have strengthened its position in ongoing negotiations, as Moscow and Kyiv prepared for further U.S.-mediated talks.

U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner negotiated into the early hours with Vladimir Putin but no breakthrough for a peace settlement was announced.
