机动车贸易协会（Motor Trade Association）警告，机动车车检系统（Warrant of Fitness，WOF）的改革方案可能导致更高的维修成本和安全问题。
关于WOF改革的公众征询将在本周三（12月17日）截止，根据该方案，部分轻型机动车的检测频率将下降，而新车的首次车检有效期将延长至4年。
轻型机动车指轿车、越野车、摩托车、小型厢货车、多用途车（MPV）、拖车、出租车以及网约车。
