As 2025 comes to a close, Apple’s product shelves look very different from how they did at the start of the year. Quietly but decisively, the company has discontinued as many as 25 devices and accessories over the past 12 months, signalling the end of several familiar product lines and pushing its ecosystem further into a new, more streamlined era. Most of these exits were expected. In typical Apple fashion, many products were retired simply because a newer version with an updated chip took their place.
