President Xi Jinping has called for solid steps to promote high-quality development in the new year, further deepen reform and opening-up across the board, and deliver prosperity for all, in order to write a new chapter in the story of China's miracle.
Xi made the remarks on Wednesday evening when delivering his 2026 New Year message in Beijing through China Media Group and the internet.
