A climate and meteorology expert has warned that TΓΌrkiye remains structurally and socially unprepared for severe weather, saying that strong storms affecting Istanbul earlier this week were meteorologically normal but revealed deep vulnerabilities in urban planning, infrastructure resilience and public awareness.
