As uncertainty looms over Donald Trump 2.0 and the prospect of fresh tariff threats from the US, geopolitical expert Fareed Zakaria has offered India a clear roadmap to deal with the Republican President: stay patient, ignore the noise and keep focusing on long-term economic strength.
Speaking to India Today Consulting Editor Rajdeep Sardesai on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Zakaria argued that India should not overreact to Trump’s volatility, stressing that “time is on India’s side”.

Speaking about the US's foreign policy, Zakaria’s advice was blunt – not to pick up unnecessary fights with Trump. “Have patience. Trump is volatile. Trump is idiosyncratic,” he said.
