Indian students are set to be among the biggest beneficiaries of the India–European Union Free Trade Agreement, senior government sources said on Tuesday.

The deal, finalised after nearly two decades of negotiations, significantly improves study mobility, post-study work prospects and long-term opportunities across the 27-nation EU bloc.

Officials said the agreement delivers India its strongest mobility commitments so far, offering greater certainty to students planning to study in Europe.
