Senegal and Morocco were slapped with bans and more than $1 million in fines on Thursday due to a shambolic Africa Cup of Nations final this month that FIFA condemned and the continent's football body called unacceptable.
The bans apply only to the Africa games and not the World Cup kicking off in June that Senegal and Morocco have both qualified for.
In the Jan. 18 final in Rabat, Senegal won 1-0 after an extra-time goal by Pape Gueye.
