The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) has removed thousands of files linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein from its website after victims said serious redaction failures exposed their identities and private information, according to BBC.
The files, released last week under a congressional mandate, were removed after victims and their lawyers warned that sensitive personal details had been made public, placing dozens of survivors at risk and causing distress.
