Thalapathy Vijay's final film Jana Nayagan has been sent to the Central Board of Film Certification's (CBFC) revising committee, according to sources. This decision comes from producers KVN Productions, weeks after a legal standoff with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). On Monday evening, KL Narayana, the producer of Vijay's Jana Nayagan also filed a letter with the Madras High Court Registry seeking withdrawal of the writ petition against the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The petition will be heard on February 10 at 10.30 am.

Following these latest developments, reports are doing the rounds that the makers are targetting a possible release in February. However, there has been no update from the producer's side, while the CBFC remains tight-lipped about the revising committee.
