TEHRAN- Following the appointment of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran by the Assembly of Experts, various artistic institutions and cultural organizations have issued statements pledging their allegiance to the new leadership.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) was among the first to react. In a statement, the head and staff of the national broadcaster expressed that the news of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei’s appointment has brought a wave of joy, hope, and tranquility to the hearts of the Iranian nation and freedom-seekers worldwide.
