Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and China's Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi met on Saturday to βadvance the comprehensive strategic partnershipβ between the two countries.
They also exchanged views on βprominentβ issues, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on X.
They agreed to implement the important understandings reached during the visit of President Sheikh Mohamed to China and his meeting with President Xi Jinping in May 2024, as part of their joint efforts to elevate bilateral relations, Wam reported.
Both sides expressed their high appreciation for the positive outcomes achieved through practical co-operation between the two countries in all fields, affirming their readiness to build on these in the areas of economy, trade, investment, oil and natural gas, renewable energy, water, infrastructure, technology, research and science.
