Before the hype of Aavesham, Fahadh Faasil had a feel-good movie called Maheshinte Prathikaaram. For those not well-versed in Malayalam, it simply translates to The Revenge of Mahesh. A must-watch movie if you are a Fahadh fan settled up north.

The movie is set in the beautiful district of Idukki in Kerala, where Mahesh Bhavana, played by Fahadh, lives the simple life of a photographer. He takes care of his father, has a love interest and a happy life going on.

However, his life turns upside down when he gets beaten up in the middle of town for stepping up to defend a family friend. He loses everything at this pointβ€”his dignity, the reputation he had in his hometown and his love interest, who dumps him to marry someone else.

Despite all this, Mahesh is hell-bent on getting his revenge. Even though the antagonist heads off to Dubai, he waits for his return.

Slowly, he prepares for his chance, even learning a bit of Kung-fu along the way.
