Before the hype of Aavesham, Fahadh Faasil had a feel-good movie called Maheshinte Prathikaaram. For those not well-versed in Malayalam, it simply translates to The Revenge of Mahesh. A must-watch movie if you are a Fahadh fan settled up north.
The movie is set in the beautiful district of Idukki in Kerala, where Mahesh Bhavana, played by Fahadh, lives the simple life of a photographer. He takes care of his father, has a love interest and a happy life going on.

However, his life turns upside down when he gets beaten up in the middle of town for stepping up to defend a family friend. He loses everything at this pointβhis dignity, the reputation he had in his hometown and his love interest, who dumps him to marry someone else.
Despite all this, Mahesh is hell-bent on getting his revenge. Even though the antagonist heads off to Dubai, he waits for his return.
Slowly, he prepares for his chance, even learning a bit of Kung-fu along the way.
